I visited our library and saw a lot of the book art twice. I saw some altered books, pop up things, lazer cut books, carousel books, and more. I was very inspired by a lot of the pieces and saw how there is a lot more that can be done with book art than I originally imagined. Some of the artists I thought stood out I posted on my artist diary blog.
As I worked on the pages I also continued to research book art. I visited our library's collection twice over the course of this project for inspiration.
